North Fork, Here We Come!

Today Brigadeiro Heaven had the honor to cater to one of North Fork's top wineries, the Lenz Winery.  We were so happy to be a part of the Subscriber's Dinner party and we are very excited to say that the event was a huge success!  We even created a new flavor specially for this event: the Midnight Dreams brigadeiro, which has been added to our menu. 

Our brigadeiros were paired with a variety of their complex and delightful wines.  Along with the new flavor Midnight Dreams (made with delicious bitter-sweet Belgium chocolate), we served the Almonditta and the Spice It Up brigadeiros.  And lastly, we also served our Passion Fruit mousse which has become a crowd favorite.  Thank you again to everyone at the Lenz Winery for an awesome event, and a big special thanks to DeeDee, Pretti and Gaurav who made this all possible.

The Sweetest Gift

Do you happen to have an awesome boss that you love to work for?  Or maybe you just have the best work environment and you have a great time with your colleagues?  Well, one of our customers sure does and she wanted to bring a nice gift to every area of the hospital she works at!  So she called BRIGADEIRO HEAVEN and placed a big order of Brigadeiro Gift Boxes!  What would be better than receiving a nice gift that is also delicious?  Think about us next time you want to surprise everyone at your work place and you will love how long those "snack breaks" will be!

Cravings Anyone???

At Brigadeiro Heaven not only do we "understand" what it's like to crave something, but we also "take it seriously"! 

Today we got a call from a new customer, a sweet brazilian girl who was craving brigadeiros and she really wanted to try Brigadeiro Heaven.  It had been a while since she had last eaten a brigadeiro so we made sure she would not go another day with her mouth watering over one!  Luckly for our new customer, we were able to deliver her order a few hours later and she was able to have her favorite flavor of brigadeiro - Choco Classic - in time for dessert!  So, if you ever have a "sweet tooth craving", make sure you know who to call!!!

Another Kids Birthday Party Y'all!

Brigadeiro Heaven is rocking among the young ones!  This order was to another birthday party, but this time it was "double" the fun!  The birthday party was for TWINS!  A handsome little boy and a gorgeous little girl who had their birthday party at school with all of their friends at the end of June.  The mom sent us the pictures from the party and we wanted to share them with you!  According to her, everyone loved them!  The party had two themes:  Tinker Bell and Spider Man, so Brigadeiro Heaven customized the "brigadeiro holders colors" to match the color of the characters.  Their mom had yet another very creative idea and she decorated the brigadeiros with some cupcake decorative picks!  Check out how adorable they look! 

Backyard Party

We are very excited to share with you that Brigadeiro Heaven had another very successful order delivered this weekend!  Our client was invited to a backyard party and wanted to bring something new and delicious to the event... so she called us!  She ordered a few of her favorite flavors and everyone loved them.  In her own words:  "The Brigadeiros were a huge success and the buzz of the night!"  And THAT is music to our ears!!!

Taste Testing Tray

I am so excited about this event which Brigadeiro Heaven is going to be a part of!  I'll tell you more about it next month... but in the meantime,  we just recently had our meeting for the "brigadeiros taste testing" so our client could pick the flavors they will be serving at their event.  I am happy to report that it was a tremendous success and they loved our brigadeiros!  On this tray you see the following flavors: "Sweet Passion", "Brig-Truffle", "Pineapple Coconut" and "Choco Classic" in a cup, "Spice It Up" and "Almonditta".  Do you want a taste?  Well, pick up your phone and call us for your next order!

We catered to another child's birthday party and the brigadeiros were flying out the trays!  We also introduced the new "Briga-Pops" which are chocolate lollipops with a creamy brigadeiro filling.... cute and delicious!

Summer Event

Today we were asked to showcase our fabulous brigadeiros at a wine tasting event at Lifetime Fitness in Florham Park.  So we took the opportunity to introduce our new serving option:  BRIGADEIRO IN A CUP. The event was a huge success and the brigadeiros were a BIG HIT!  The word on the street was that our brigadeiros tasted like "Heaven in a Cup"!  We couldn't have asked for more!

Kids Themed Birthday Parties!

Today we had our first kids birthday party with the "customized" brigadeiro holder to match the theme of the party!  We have several different themes for kids parties and this specific one was for "Cinderella and Princesses".  Look how beautifully decorated your kids cake table could look like with our brigadeiros!  After the "happy birthday" song, everyone digged in and it was a huge hit!  The kids (and their parents) kept coming back for more... not to mention the "bowls full with britadeiros" that were taken home!  Yep, everyone wanted to bring some home to savor later!  So don't waste time and place your kid's birthday party order today!!!



It's SUMMER time!!!

Ohhhh Summer time..... beautiful weather to enjoy the outside, sitting on your porch drinking a cold lemonade and soaking up in the sun!  It's also time for some fruity flavors in Brigadeiro Heaven! 

On this tray you can see the delicious 'Sweet Passion Brigadeiro' made with the juices of my favorite fruit Passion Fruit.  It doesn't get more 'tropical' than that!  Also on the tray is everyone's favorite 'Choco Classic' and the 'Coco Locco Brigadeiro'.   And coming soon:  pictures of what will be one of this season's top picks:  'Lucious Lemon Brigadeiro'.  You won't believe how good it is until you taste one!

First Communion Order

Today we are delivering an order for a First Communion celebration!  Our customer absolutely LOVES the "Classic Chocolate" brigadeiro so we made them with different colors of sprinkels and they look adorable! 



 She wanted to give her guests a favor box with the brigadeiros and we had a lot of fun preparing them!  So take a peek at what we have been up to this morning!!!

New Orders!

Hi everyone! 

We have been busy experimenting with new flavors and ways to make brigadeiros even more fun and delicious for your events!  We delivered an order last week for a Book Club Meeting and for that one I decided to create something different.  So I came up with the "Brigadeiro Truffles".  Basically they are "little chocolates" filled with brigadeiro inside.  Delicious!!!   

 

For the brigadeiro truffles I had the Milk Chocolate filled with Classic White Brigadeiro, and the White Chocolate filled with the Classic Brigadeiro.  For that same order, I also made a new flavor called "Very Berry" which is a strawberry flavored Brigadeiro.  This week I will keep  playing around with new flavors and new types of fun brigadeiros for your event!  I have some really awesome ideas in mind for Graduation Parties so keep checking out our blog for new photos and updates. 

Welcome to Blogger Life!

Wow!  My very first blog E-V-E-R!  I have had this blog set up now for a few weeks but I had not yet posted anything. I did everything else first... I designed it, played around with it over and over again, struggled to understand how to create the 'Pages Tab' (but thanks to my dear friend Kelly I was able to figure it out!).... well, like I said, I did literally EVERYTHING before submiting my first post.  Call it "stage fright" or what you will, but finally here it is!  THE FIRST POST!

I don't really consider myself a 'computer savy' person and this whole 'blog building thing' is a lot harder than it sounds.  But because I am SO PASSIONATE about my new business and because I BELIEVE in it, I have worked really hard for the past weeks to make this a reality.  So... I am very proud to present you BRIGADEIRO HEAVEN!  A dream which has come to life and that will stick around for many years to come!  And what I find most rewarding and touching is that once I have shared 'my dream' with my family and friends, they have given me EVERYTHING I could have asked for, from support, to advice, to helping me with the design of the logo, to positive feedback, to doing 'supplies shopping all the way in Brazil' (thanks Mom, you're awesome!), and to 'brainstorming sessions' with my brother all the way from London (love you JP!).  There were also some 'special taste testers' who were willing to try something new and give us their opinions! Lisa, Mary, Viv, Vanessa, Gyll and Michelle, you guys are awesome! I have experienced the most beautiful form of 'team work' in the making of this business and I will always remember it.

I have many goals for my business and tons of ideas that come to my mind everyday, but for now I can say 'I am so happy with how far we've come in these few weeks".  One step at a time, and we WILL GET THERE!  We have many different types and flavors of BRIGADEIROS, we can customize them to your party theme (as much as possible anyway!) and we would love to cater to your dinner parties, birthday parties, kids birthdays, graduation parties.... you name it!  You don't even need a special occasion to order from us!  You can be just craving BRIGADEIROS and want to order a box to bring to your colleagues at work.... anything goes!

So to end my very FIRST POST (I can't stop saying that!) I would like to give a very special thanks to two very special people who I couldn't have done it without: my business partner Melissa who is a great friend and is so excited about this business as I am, and to our sweet and dear friend Kelly who is the designer of our logo and who is the 'computer savy' one of the trio!  You girls are fantastic! And last but NOT LEAST, I would to thank my awesome husband Roland, who is SUPER SUPPORTIVE and always backs me in everything (and who did not mind being the initial INVESTOR for my business or potentially my 'go to' capital base!)... We'll talk later baby! Love you! ;)
